Events & Communications Gatherer

We’re now looking to recruit someone to work with Liz to organise and promote a series of gatherings. We’re offering a freelance contract of 10 hours per week for 6 months, at a rate of £14 an hour.

The gatherings will be broadly on three key themes:

  • Grief Tending in Community and The Work That Reconnects – Short taster sessions and one-day workshops.

  • Creative Conversations – Themed half-day listening circles (drawing on the format known as the Way of Council) and one-day Open Space speaker events.

  • Approaches to Collaboration – Taster sessions and one-day workshops on the theme of Re-Imagining Power, drawing on patterns from the Sociocracy 3.0 and other approaches.

This is part of our mission "To foster collaborations and create communal spaces where together we can face the challenges of our times and move towards a more just and beautiful world." It specifically takes forward our aim of inviting a living inquiry into how we can 'do it differently'.

We would love to hear from you if you feel drawn to join us in this capacity. We’re asking prospective candidates to send a CV and covering letter to reach us no later than 12 noon on Thursday 23 June. We will hold informal interviews Wednesday 29 June, so please keep this date clear if you would like to be considered for this role.

You can download the role description and full details of the application process below. It would be a big help to us if you would pass on these details to anyone you think may be interested.
